Pixhawk to Companion Computer UART Cable: The Missing Link

Let’s be honest: you’re here because you’ve finally realized that your Pixhawk can’t talk to your Raspberry Pi via sheer willpower. You need a physical connection, and unless you have the steady hands of a surgeon and the patience of a saint to crimp your own JST-GH pins, you’re buying this. It’s a cable. It carries data. It won't make you a better pilot, but it will stop your companion computer from being a very expensive paperweight.

Why You Want It

Because soldering microscopic connectors is a form of digital masochism we don't recommend. This cable bridges the gap between your flight controller's TELEM port and whatever silicon brain you’ve strapped to your drone. Whether you're running MAVLink, OSD, or just trying to figure out why your drone is ignoring your commands, this 300mm strand of copper is the solution. It’s long enough to allow for some truly questionable cable management, yet short enough to not add a kilogram of unnecessary weight.

Specs

  • Connector A: JST-GH 6-Pin (The one that actually stays plugged in, unlike its predecessor).
  • Connector B: 3x 1-Pin Dupont (The universal "I'll just stick this here" connector).
  • Length: 300mm (Roughly the length of a standard UK sub, but much less delicious).
  • Wiring: UART standard (RX, TX, and GND for those who actually read the manual).
  • Flexibility: High (Unlike your flight instructor's attitude).

In the Box

  • 1x JST-GH 6-pin to 3x 1-pin Dupont Cable (300mm of pure connectivity).

Compatibility

Works perfectly with Pixhawk 2.1 (The Cube), Holybro Pixhawk 4/5/6, and almost any flight controller that uses the standard 6-pin JST-GH telemetry port. On the other end? Raspberry Pi, Jetson Nano, or your neighbor's Arduino project.

Highlights

  • Plug & Play-ish: Assuming you know which pin is RX and which is TX. It’s a 50/50 shot, right?
  • UK Stocked: Dispatched from our warehouse in the UK, so you aren't waiting three weeks for a piece of wire to cross the ocean.
  • Colour Coded: Because staring at a bunch of identical black wires is how villains are made.

Notes

Please double-check your pinout before powering up. Sending 5V into a signal pin is a great way to turn your expensive electronics into a very brief light show. We've seen it happen. It’s tragic.

Disclaimer

We are not responsible for magic smoke, fried processors, or your companion computer gaining sentience and refusing to land.

Still Here?

You’re either a dedicated spec-nerd or a Google crawler bot. If you're the former, just add it to the cart already. If you're the latter: Pixhawk UART Cable UK, Drone Telemetry Wire, JST-GH to Dupont. There, I said the keywords. Now let’s get back to flying.
