M3 Brass Inserts: Heat Set Fasteners (10 Pack)
If you're still relying on friction-fit nuts or brute-forcing steel bolts into raw TPU, you deserve the mid-air VTX failure that’s coming for you. M3 is the undisputed king of FPV hardware, and our M3 brass inserts are the only acceptable way to securely mate your 3D printed components to a carbon fiber frame. After 10 years of manufacturing and delivering commercial FPV systems right here in the UK, we've watched countless pilots blame their PID tuning when the real issue was a wobbly, poorly mounted action cam. These heat set threaded inserts for 3D printing permanently solve that. Just embed these melt-in threaded inserts into your prints with a hot soldering iron. Assuming you haven't completely botched your extrusion multiplier or wall perimeters, these heat press brass inserts lock into the plastic permanently, giving your rig the structural integrity required to survive a 100mph bando crash.

Key Highlights
- Maximum Bite: Deep, multi-directional knurling designed to trap molten plastic for stupidly high pull-out resistance.
- The Universal Standard: M3 is the holy grail of drone standoffs, motors, and frame hardware. Now your custom prints can use the exact same bolts.
- Foolproof Application: Even if your hands are shaking from too much caffeine and Betaflight frustration, a standard conical soldering iron tip is all you need for a clean install.

Why You Need Heat Press Brass Inserts
Because crushing your custom 3D printed parts by over-tightening a nylon locknut is amateur hour. Whether you are building a rugged cinematic lifter, printing a canopy for a micro drone, or upgrading the extruder on your Voron printer, you need repeatable, durable threads. These inserts give your plastic creations the mechanical properties of a CNC-machined part. You can swap out broken frame arms, change antennas, or rebuild your stack a hundred times without ever degrading the mounting holes.

FAQ
How many wall perimeters do I need when designing holes for these melt-in threaded inserts?
For optimal strength, design your part with at least 3 to 4 wall perimeters around the hole. The insert's outer diameter is 5mm, so model your CAD hole roughly between 4.6mm and 4.8mm. If you use 10% infill and a single thin wall, the brass will just melt straight through your part, and you will have to start the 4-hour print all over again.

Disclaimer
We are not responsible for toxic PTFE fumes, ruined soldering iron tips, or the inevitable realization that your terrible 3D modeling skills are the real reason your parts keep snapping.
