The RunCam swift is an lightweight 600TVL FPV camera based on a Sony CCD sensor. Optimised for FPV pilots with custom auto exposure algorithms with super low latency, the RunCam Swift will always keep a clear picture. This means the ground never getting too dark and the sky does not become over exposed. Futhermore the Swift is available with an IR sensitive filter allowing you to fly in darker situations such as dusk or dawn.
At the heart of the swift, there is a 600TVL 1/3 SONY Super HAD II CCD image sensor, famous amongst FPV pilot. The lens is 2.8mm with 90 degree FOV and the input power ranges from 5-17V. With this FPV camera you can choose between whether you want a camera that is IR blocked or IR sensitive.
Why Choose IR Blocked?
This is the better option if you're doing most of your flying in daylight. Having a camera with IR blocked simply means that you will get a better picture quality (in daylight) with more vivid and accurate colours.
Why Choose IR Sensitive?
Having an FPV camera that is IR sensitive means that you get a better picture quality in early morning light or dusk. It enhances the IR rays to ensure that you have a clearer picture. You can even fly at night with this camera if you have some IR LEDs fixed to the front of your flying platform.
Note: We currently only sell this camera in orange.
