Walksnail Avatar GT 2W VTX Module

Oh, look. Another way to spend your rent money on a piece of silicon that screams signal at 2W. If you've ever thought, "I wish my VTX could double as a space heater while providing a crystal-clear 1080p feed," then the Walksnail Avatar GT is your new best friend. It’s big, it’s bold, and it’s probably more powerful than your first laptop. (Disclaimer: Do not actually try to run Windows on this.)

Why You Want It

Most VTXs are delicate little flowers. The Avatar GT is a brick with an attitude. With up to 2W of output power, it’s designed to punch through obstacles like they’re made of wet tissue paper. Look, we both know you're just here to see if it fits in your frame; it’s chunky, but those cooling fins are there for a reason—namely, so it doesn't turn into a puddle of molten metal mid-flight. It’s for those long-range missions where you need to see exactly which tree you’re about to hit in glorious 1080p.

Specs

  • Power Output: Up to 33dBm/2W (Basically a microwave without the popcorn feature).
  • Frequency: 5.725-5.850 GHz
  • Input Voltage: 11.1V-25.2V (3S to 6S for those who like to live dangerously).
  • Mounting: 25.5 × 25.5 mm & 20 × 20 mm (Because standards are just suggestions).
  • Dimensions: 34 × 34 × 23 mm (Measure your frame, Kevin).
  • Weight: 41.6 g (Heavier than your self-esteem after a crash).
  • Latency: 22ms average (Faster than your reaction time after three espressos).
  • Storage: Micro SD slot up to 256GB (For all that 1080p footage you'll never edit).

In the Box

  • 1x Walksnail Avatar GT VTX
  • A handful of M2 screws (Which you will definitely lose in the carpet)
  • 1x 4-pin Power Cable
  • 2x SD Card Stickers (For when you forget which card is which)

Compatibility

Plays nice with Betaflight, INAV, Fettec, Kiss, and ArduPilot. Basically, if it has a flight controller and can talk via Canvas mode, the GT will listen. It’s the most social thing in your hobby room.

Highlights

  • Dual Antennas: Because two is always better than one, unless we're talking about bills.
  • Heat Dissipation: Large cooling fins so it doesn't melt into a puddle of sadness.
  • 1080p Recording: Record your glorious flights—or spectacular failures—in high definition.

Notes

Requires adequate airflow. Do not power this up on a bench at 2W for thirty minutes unless you enjoy the smell of burning electronics. UK flyers: Please stick to legal power limits unless you’re flying in a lead-lined bunker or on the moon.

Disclaimer

Don't blame us if this outranges your control link. Use your brain, fly responsibly, and keep it legal-ish.

If you've read this far, you're either a bot or you've already added this to your cart and are just looking for a reason to click 'buy'. Stop overthinking it. Your long-range build deserves better than that dusty old analog setup. Buy the Avatar GT 2W, get some actual signal, and maybe—just maybe—stop losing drones in the woods.
