TBS Lucid DroneCAN PWM Board: For People Who Hate Wiring More Than Their Ex
You’re reading a product description for a breakout board. Blink twice if you’re being held hostage by a 50-meter roll of silicone wire and a soldering iron that’s definitely too hot for your own good. The TBS Lucid DroneCAN PWM Board is here to save you from your own poor life choices (namely, manual cable management).
Why You Want It
Let’s be real: running signal wires across a massive hexacopter or long-range fixed wing is the tech equivalent of trying to untangle cheap headphones in a dark room. This board takes the sophisticated DroneCAN protocol and spits out PWM or DShot signals right where you need them. It’s also got a dedicated power rail for high-current servos because we know you’re trying to move some seriously beefy control surfaces without causing a brownout that would make the national grid weep.

In the Box
- 1x DroneCAN PWM Breakout board
- 2x CANBUS Cable (4pins 20cm)
Compatibility
Works perfectly with any Flight Controller that speaks DroneCAN/UAVCAN. If your FC is still using telegraphy, it might be time for an upgrade. Ideal for ArduPilot builds where you want to keep the noise down and the efficiency up.
Highlights
- Declutter Your Build: One cable to rule them all. Or at least one cable to replace eight.
- High-Current Support: Route power through an external BEC so you don't melt your FC's 5V rail.
- TBS Reliability: It’s black, it’s sleek, and it actually works.
Notes
This board requires a basic understanding of CAN bus termination. If you don't know what that means, Google is your friend, or just keep adding resistors until the red light stops blinking (don't actually do that).
Disclaimer
Magic smoke is not included in the warranty. Please double-check your polarity before you turn your drone into an expensive incense burner.
Still Here?
Honestly, we’re impressed you read this far. Most people just look at the picture and hope for the best. Stop procrastinating, buy the board, and finally finish that 'Project' that's been sitting on your bench since the last lockdown. Your drone misses the sky, and we miss your money.
