The Runcam Phoenix V2 nano, uses a massive 1/2″ sensor to give the incredibly vivid high resolution images for your FPV feed. Other sensor improvements include lower latency and less digital shimmer.
Features
- With the same CPU and 1/2” high-performance image sensor as the RunCam Phoenix 2,
the RunCam Phoenix 2 Nano produces vivid high-resolution pictures. - Thanks to the 1/2” super global WDR image sensor and the ƒ/2.0 big aperture 7G glass lens,
the Phoenix 2 Nano’s low light performance is even better than the RunCam Eagle. - ƒ/2.0 big aperture lens. Less red lens flare. The customized high-quality 7 layers of glass lens has a ƒ/2.0 aperture which brings less red lens flare and less purple fringing effect. These lenses are also used on the RunCam Split Nano3.
- Less digital shimmer.Compare to the RunCam Eagle, the RunCam Phoenix 2 has way less digital shimmer and a much cleaner image.

Didn’t know what I’d been missing! Huge upgrade over the Nano 2, much better light handling, clearer image, great colours, adjustable settings, absolutely mindblowing low light performance, great field of view (2.1m. 4:3 stretched out to 16:9 in the goggles looks fine and as natural as an FPV camera can). Worth the money if you’re planning a special little build. I just took a punt as my camera let the magic smoke out…
Havn’t compared properly to Foxeer Thoothless Starlight, but I’m guessing it’s in the ballpark.
