The Pocket Crush is the upgraded version with AG01 Nano CNC Hall gimbals. At 350g it is the same weight as the standard Pocket, but the CNC gimbal mechanism gives noticeably better centering and precision. Mid-Range Tier: Boxer and TX15

The Boxer is where most serious FPV pilots land. It has full-size Hall gimbals, six switches, two sliders, a 4.3-inch colour display, and a proper JR module bay. We stock three variants:

  • Boxer Max: adds CNC gimbals and premium finish.

The TX15 is the Boxer-sized radio with a touchscreen. It runs on the STM32H7 processor (the same chip as the TX16S MK3), has a 4-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen, and AG01 Hall gimbals. Flagship Tier: TX16S MK3 and GX12

The TX16S MK3 is the radio RadioMaster built to replace everything else on our bench. The MK3 specs are a genuine generational leap: STM32H7 processor, 5-inch 800x480 IPS touchscreen, V6 quad-bearing Hall gimbals, internal dual-band Gemini (2.4GHz and 900MHz via dual LR1121 ICs), built-in cooling fan, 4GB internal flash, and a motion sensor for tilt-based controls. Specialist: AX12 and Nomad

The AX12 runs Android 9.0 with a 5.5-inch 1000-nit screen. It is effectively a tablet with sticks. The appeal is running apps directly on the radio: weather checks, maps, configuration tools. The Nomad is not a radio; it is an external 1W dual-band Gemini Xrossband ELRS module that fits any JR module bay. It turns a Boxer or TX16S into a long-range beast. If you already have a radio you like and need more range, the Nomad is cheaper than buying a new radio.

The MK3 and GX12 add Gemini dual-band, which simultaneously transmits on 2.4GHz and 900MHz for dramatically improved signal redundancy. For typical park flying, standard 2.4GHz ELRS is more than sufficient. For long-range or signal-dense environments, Gemini is worth having.

A: No. The Boxer Crush has a non-touch colour display and is our most-recommended radio. Touchscreens are convenient for model management and configuration, but they are not necessary for flying. If you fly one model and rarely change settings, a non-touch radio is fine.

Q: Is the TX16S MK3 worth it over the MKII?
