Meet the Poly F405 2S-4S 20A AIO V1.2—an all-in-one flight controller designed to be lightweight, versatile, and exceptionally easy to solder. With its F405 MCU, BMI270 gyro, and preflashed Betaflight and Bluejay ESC firmware, this AIO is perfect for building nimble toothpick drones, cinewhoops, and even lightweight long-range quads. The updated version (V1.2) brings multiple enhancements, making it a breeze to work with, whether you’re a seasoned drone enthusiast or just getting started.
This flight controller is engineered to support 2S-4S LiPo/LiHV batteries and is built to handle motors ranging from 1102 to 1404, with a special recommendation for avoiding high-KV motors like 6000KV 1404. Ideal for 3″ sub-250g builds, the Poly F405 V1.2 AIO is a flexible choice for any lightweight setup.

Quick Tip: If you are having any issues with the ESC, we suggest you try to swap the firmware to Blheli_S, or reflash BlueJay, as some customers have reported some issues with certain motor brands on BlueJay firmware that is resolved when you flash Blheli_S firmware onto the ESC.

The Poly F405 V1.2 AIO supports a variety of configurations for 3″ toothpicks, cinewhoops, and similar small drones. It’s optimized for motors such as 1102, 1103, 1202, 1204, 1303, and 1404. For 4S builds with 1404 motors, soldering the capacitor directly to the soldering pads is recommended for stability.
Note: Accessories included may vary based on supply.
The default betaflight firmware version on the Poly V1.2 is 4.5.1, because the version limits and the product testing needs, the default settings are CRSF protocol and analog OSD mode. For HD digital and other receiver users, please reflash the firmware to include HD OSD options and other receiver protocols.

The default Bluejay firmware on the Poly F405 V1.2 is 0.21. The start up power is lower than the previous version V0.16. If you find your motor doesn’t spin up, please try to increase the start up power.
Check out the article below to see how to set up the startup power and motor idle.

1404 is the maximum motor size that the Poly F405 V1.2 supports. About the KV value, please avoid using high kv 1404/1303 motors, such as 1404 6000KV. For the 1404 size motor, 3800kv is recommended.
Please solder the capacitor directly to the onboard capacitor soldering pad. We highly recommend that you do this when you build a 4S quad.
Please power up the receiver and VTX by the battery during the binding and setup process. Because the 5V from USB does not power the receiver and VTX.
Only the buzzer with a built-in drive circuit can be used on this AIO flight controller. A common micro buzzer (that only has two legs and without PCB board) is incompatible with the Poly F405 2S-4S AIO. We have released the buzzer with a built-in driver circuit. Buy it here.
