Your EdgeTX Radio Setup, Distilled.

So, you’ve got a shiny new radio running EdgeTX. Congratulations. Now you get to spend the next four hours figuring out how to make it talk to your quadcopter without summoning a small, propeller-based demon. Or, you could just follow the no-nonsense guide we commissioned from the venerable Painless360. We've turned his video into a digestible summary because, let's be honest, sometimes you just want the instructions without the preamble.
The whole process is shockingly straightforward. Create a model, leave the AETR channel order alone (it’s what Betaflight expects, don’t argue), and assign your switches. Specifically, put your Arm switch on channel 5 and your flight Modes on channel 6. Maybe add a buzzer on another channel if you’re the type who plans ahead for the inevitable "hide and seek" game in tall grass. Name your channels. Seriously. Future you, who has forgotten everything, will be grateful.
If you'd rather watch someone do it, because reading is hard, we get it. Here's the original video. It's got moving pictures and a calming voice-over. Magic.
This is the short version, designed to get you from unboxing to unflinchingly plugging in a battery in record time. It covers the absolute essentials and skips the fluff. For a more exhaustive, screenshot-laden breakdown of every single click and scroll, you can find the full step-by-step guide over here. Now go forth and fly. Or, you know, hover cautiously a foot off the ground. Baby steps.
