This VTOL Might Not Immediately Crash. Maybe.

Hobby-grade VTOLs. A fantastic idea, usually followed by the sound of snapping foam and a grown man weeping over his PayPal account. After a particularly brutal 2023, our resident expert Painless360 had sworn them off for good. Yet, here we are. A new box has landed on his bench: the ArgusFPV ROC Wing. It promises to not immediately fly itself into the nearest solid object. A bold claim.
So, what's different? Apparently, ArgusFPV tried a revolutionary new strategy called "factory testing." The ROC Wing comes with a pre-tuned ArduPilot brain, a sensible layout, and the usual assortment of foam and carbon fibre. It's designed for long flights, assuming it stays in one piece. We remain cautiously optimistic, which is another way of saying we expect the worst but hope for the best. See for yourself.
Is the ArgusFPV ROC Wing the chosen one that finally makes tilt-rotors bearable, or is it just another expensive lesson in aerodynamics? Time will tell. If you're into the nitty-gritty details of past trauma and the slow, painful process of rebuilding trust, you can find the full breakdown in our latest report. Don't say we didn't warn you.
