iFlight Nazgul Evoque V3 frame in deadcat configuration

The Evoque V3 Review: For The Impatient

We wrote a ridiculously detailed review of the iFlight Nazgul Evoque V3. We get it, you're busy. Here’s the gist: iFlight redesigned their best 5-inch BNF, probably just to make the old one feel inadequate. It's packed with a DJI O4 system and a new frame that can’t decide if it’s a Deadcat or a true X. So they made it both.

Out of the box, it flies like it’s had a proper cup of tea—calm, collected, and surprisingly stable, even when the wind is having a bit of a tantrum. The Borg Mini F7 stack keeps things tidy, and the DJI O4 integration is so clean you could eat your dinner off it. The footage is silky smooth, making you look like a much better pilot than you actually are. We won't tell if you don't.

Before you plug in a 6S and send it, a word of caution. The firmware is a custom job, so updating it immediately is a fantastic way to turn your new drone into a paperweight. Also, check the failsafe. It's set to 'DROP', which is less 'Return to Home' and more 'Return to Earth, rapidly'. Finally, the anti-spark circuit is now part of the ESC, which is great for tidiness but less great for your wallet when it decides to fail.

The verdict? If you want a top-tier cinematic BNF that just works, and you're willing to pay the premium, this is it. It’s the king of convenience.
