Anti-Gravity A1 FPV drone flying over a river.

The Anti-Gravity A1: TL;DR Edition

We wrote a massive review on the Anti-Gravity A1. You probably didn't read it. That's fine, we're not offended. Much. The short version is this: it's an FPV drone with a mind-blowing 360-degree camera and goggles so good they feel like witchcraft. The drone itself? It's… a drone.

Let's be clear: you buy this for the visuals. The goggles are a revelation, offering a VR-like experience that no other ready-to-fly kit can touch. The 360 camera lets you reframe shots in post, which is either genius or a massive faff, depending on your patience. It’s perfect for creating those weird tiny-planet videos that are all the rage.

Now for the moans. The radio signal has a peculiar allergy to flying sideways, dropping faster than your motivation on a Monday morning. The controller was clearly designed by someone who thinks left-handed people are a myth. And the ‘free motion’ flight mode is a novelty you’ll try once before switching to something that doesn't require interpretive dance to control.

So, should you buy it? If you want a unique, immersive flying camera and can live with its eccentricities, absolutely. If you're after a rock-solid radio link or a pure racing experience, probably not. For all the unfiltered details, you can subject yourself to the full review. Or just watch the video below. Your call.
