That EdgeTX Menu You Ignore (Until You Can't)

Let's be honest, you spend all your time in the Model menu. The System menu on your EdgeTX radio is that dusty corner of the workshop you only visit when something's broken or you need a very specific tool. And that's exactly how it should be. It’s for tweaking the radio itself—the boring-but-essential housekeeping that applies to everything, not just one quad. Our mate Painless360 put together a rather comprehensive tour, because someone had to.

So, when do you actually need it? Mostly for three things: binding your ExpressLRS receiver (it lives in 'Tools,' you're welcome), checking what firmware version you're running before you inevitably break something with an update, and calibrating your battery so the voltage warnings don't lie to you. That’s about it. Everything else is just… there, filling the space.

We’ve distilled all the important bits from Painless360’s deep dive into a much longer, more detailed guide. If you're the type who enjoys reading manuals—or you've just run into a problem you can't solve by hitting things—you can find the full explainer here. For everyone else, you now know just enough to be dangerous. You're welcome.
