TBS Chapito FPV wing flying over a field

TBS Chapito: Less Faff, More Flying

FPV wings usually come with a side of existential dread. You spend a weekend gluing, soldering, and questioning your life choices, only for it to fly like a startled brick. TBS apparently decided you’d rather be in the air than on a workbench, so they made the Chapito.

Mads Tech put it together in what feels like five minutes, tossed it, and it just… worked. It’s stable, predictable, and flies so forgivingly that even when he introduced it to a fence, the damage was cosmetic. A dab of glue and it was back to business. You can watch the full, fence-kissing review below.

The verdict? It's a solid 9/10. It won't revolutionise the hobby, but it absolutely nails the 'fly more, tinker less' brief. You get about nine minutes of airtime, a reliable launch every time, and an excuse to finally clear your workbench. For all the granular details and a few pro tips (like why you should use Gyroflow over RockSteady), read the full deep-dive.
