Shrinking Pains: The FpV ERA Mini Frame Kit Review-ish
Share
We took a look at the FpV ERA Mini frame. It's essentially the original ERA but smaller (3.5 inches, specifically) and somehow tighter. They managed to shrink it without deleting the important bits, mostly thanks to that same molded nylon front cage designed to protect your camera until your inevitable next crash. You're welcome.

But beware: smaller isn't simpler. Space planning is critical. Front stack clearance is minimal (around 8mm), so random hardware stacking will fail. You must choose the right frame version for your camera—DJI O4 Pro or 'standard'—to avoid wiring misery. And for the love of sanity, pre-fit those five captive nuts. Doing it later is frustrating and messy, much like your first few flights.
