For simulator practice or as a gift for a nephew you're only moderately fond of, the T8L is fine. If you plan on flying something that costs actual money, the Pocket is your compact entry ticket. For everyone else caught in the purgatory of indecision, the Boxer and TX15 are the sensible, long-term choices you won't immediately regret. They just work.

Then there’s the TX16S Mark III, for those who believe 'more is more' and want every feature imaginable, some of which you might even use one day. It’s the flagship for a reason. As for the Zoro? Great gimbals, but a battery life that lasts about as long as a New Year's resolution. You’ve been warned.
