Air Mode: Not a Flight Mode, but Essential for Acro
Air Mode causes more confusion than any other Betaflight setting. It is not a flight mode like Angle, Horizon, or Acro. It is a feature that keeps your motors spinning at idle and maintains full PID authority even at zero throttle. Without it, your drone loses steering control during throttle cuts and inverted dives because the motors slow to idle and the flight controller can no longer correct attitude.
