SkyRC e3S 2–3S Lithium Balance Charger

For compatible 2S and 3S packs, keep the charging routine simple rather than adding another menu maze to the bench. The SkyRC e3S charges LiPo, LiHV and LiFe batteries through their balance connection, with 20W rated charging power, a single MODE button and colour-coded status LEDs.

Key Highlights

  • Balance-port charging: Dedicated 2S and 3S connections keep setup straightforward. Connect one battery at a time, never both ports together.
  • Three lithium chemistries: Select LiPo, LiHV or LiFe to match the battery. Similar-looking packs are not permission to guess the setting.
  • Fixed current, fewer settings: The e3S uses 2.20A for 2S or 1.60A for 3S, each with ±10% tolerance. Check that your pack permits this current before connecting.
  • LiPo/LiHV storage mode: A separate storage function prepares supported packs for downtime. Its 2W discharge capability is modest, not a fast way to empty a full pack.
  • Compact mains-powered design: A 92 × 58 × 36mm case and approximately 104g charger weight leave room for the rest of the bench clutter.

Why You Want It

If your routine centres on supported 2S or 3S lithium packs and their charge-current limits suit this charger, the e3S gives you a focused charging and storage option without an external DC supply. It is not a universal FPV charger: 1S whoop batteries and 4S–6S packs need another solution, and small packs may need a lower, adjustable current.

FAQ

Will it charge every 2S or 3S battery?

No. The chemistry, balance connection and battery manufacturer's permitted charging current must all match. The fixed current cannot be turned down for a small pack.

Can I use both balance ports at once?

No. SkyRC explicitly warns that connecting 2S and 3S batteries simultaneously may damage the charger. Use one pack at a time.

How do I start it?

Select the correct chemistry and working mode before starting. Hold MODE for more than three seconds to start; the manual also states that it starts automatically after eight seconds without an action once the battery is connected. Do not leave selection until later.

Does storage mode work with LiFe?

No. SkyRC specifies storage mode for LiPo and LiHV only. Yellow indicates storage operation; green indicates charging operation, with a solid light indicating completion.

Disclaimer

Read the SkyRC e3S instruction manual before use. Use only the supported battery types and cell counts, and follow the battery manufacturer's charge-current limits. Never leave charging unattended or charge damaged or defective batteries. Use a safe, well-ventilated location, keep the charger away from moisture and excessive heat, and keep batteries and charger out of children's reach. Stop charging immediately if abnormalities occur.

Still Here?

Check your pack's chemistry, balance connection and allowed current first. If those line up, the e3S keeps your 2S/3S charging routine pleasantly uncomplicated.
