BlueSky 5V 3A UBEC

Look, we know you love living on the edge, but running your sensitive electronics directly off a 6S battery is less "maverick" and more "expensive paperweight." The BlueSky UBEC is here to stop your gear from turning into a miniature smoke machine. It takes the angry pixies from your 2-6S LiPo and turns them into a smooth, buttery 5V 3A stream. It’s not magic, it’s just basic physics, but we won't tell your flight controller that.

Why You Want It

Maybe your ESC is a "budget" model that didn't come with a BEC, or maybe you're trying to power a Raspberry Pi on a drone because you're a masochist. Whatever the reason, this UBEC provides stable power so you can stop worrying about brownouts and start worrying about that tree you're definitely going to hit. It weighs 5g, which is less than the weight of the regret you'll feel if you skip using one.

Specs

  • Input Voltage: 2-6S LiPo (7.4V - 25.2V for those who like to push their luck).
  • Output Voltage: 5V (The universal language of electronics).
  • Continuous Current: 3A (Enough to power most things that aren't a toaster).
  • Weight: 5g (Basically a feather, if feathers were made of silicon and shame).

In the Box

  • 1x BlueSky 5V/3A UBEC
  • Zero excuses for frying your receiver.

Compatibility

Works with anything that needs 5V and doesn't draw more than 3A. Ideal for flight controllers, LED strips, VTXs, and that one weird Arduino project you started in 2019 and haven't finished.

Highlights

  • Low Noise: Because nobody likes static in their video feed or their life.
  • Tiny Footprint: Fits into those tight frames where you’ve already cable-managed yourself into a corner.
  • Blue: It’s in the name. If it wasn’t blue, we’d have a lawsuit on our hands.

Notes

This is a step-down converter. If you feed it 3V and expect 5V, you're going to have a bad time. Also, please check your polarity twice. We can't refund "user-error-induced fireworks."

Disclaimer

Installing this incorrectly will result in sadness and potentially fire. We are not responsible for your lack of soldering skills. Be careful.

Still Here?

If you've read this far, you're either a bot crawling our site or desperately procrastinating on a 5-inch build. Buy the regulator, fix your power issues, and go fly. Your 5V servos are literally crying for this. #FPV #DroneBuild #UBEC #VoltageRegulator #Electronics
