iFlight Borg Mini H7 Stack with Borg 60R ESC

Building a compact high-power quad should not mean choosing between processor headroom, receiver integration and an ESC that can handle the battery. The Borg Mini H7 Stack puts an STM32H743 flight controller, onboard 2.4GHz ExpressLRS receiver and 60A Borg 60R 4-in-1 ESC around a 20 × 20mm mounting pattern for 4S to 8S builds.

Key Highlights

  • H7 Flight Controller: The STM32H743VIH6 MCU is paired with an ICM42688 gyro, five UARTs and 32MB blackbox flash for a capable Betaflight core.
  • ExpressLRS Receiver Onboard: An ESP8285 and SX1281 receiver with external antenna, LNA and TCXO removes one separate receiver board and its wiring from the build.
  • 60A 4-in-1 ESC: The Borg 60R supports 4S to 8S LiPo or LiHV power, with 60A continuous output and a 65A ten-second burst rating.
  • Useful Power Rails: A 5V 2.5A BEC and switchable 12V 2A BEC give you dedicated supplies for the flight electronics and supported video hardware.
  • Analogue and Digital Video Support: The FC supports DJI MSP, SmartAudio, IRC Tramp and HDZero interfaces, so the stack is not tied to one video-system camp.
  • ESC Telemetry and Bidirectional DShot: Motor data and modern DShot workflows are supported without adding another nest of signal wires.

Why You Want It

This stack is aimed at compact performance builds where board space disappears faster than expected. Integrating the 2.4GHz ELRS receiver clears one item from the layout, while the H7 FC leaves room for GPS, VTX control and other peripherals across five UARTs. Underneath it, the Borg 60R covers a wide 4S to 8S input range and includes an anti-spark filter with high-polymer capacitors for the power stage. Fewer separate boards means fewer opportunities to discover one forgotten wire after the frame is closed.

FAQ

Does this stack need a separate radio receiver?

Not for a compatible 2.4GHz ExpressLRS setup. The Borg Mini H7 includes an onboard ESP8285 and SX1281 receiver with its own external antenna connection.

Can I use it on 8S?

The Borg 60R ESC is specified for 4S to 8S LiPo or LiHV input. Every motor and other power-system component must also be suitable for the battery voltage you choose.

Does the ESC include a current sensor?

No. iFlight explicitly lists no current sensor on the Borg 60R, so plan telemetry and OSD data accordingly.

What's in the Box*

  • 1 × Borg Mini H7 flight controller with onboard receiver
  • 1 × Borg 60R 4-in-1 ESC
  • 1 × cable set
  • 5 × silicone grommets

Disclaimer

Check motor, battery, capacitor, video-system and firmware compatibility before powering the stack. The 60A rating is not permission to ignore airflow, solder quality or a badly chosen motor and prop combination.

Still Here?

If your compact build needs H7 processing, onboard ELRS and a serious 4-in-1 ESC in one stack, the Borg is ready for the soldering mat.
