Axisflying Bando 5": Because Concrete is Harder Than Your Ego
Look, we both know why you're here. You saw a YouTube video of someone diving a chimney with a 150-degree tilt, and now you think you're the next FPV prodigy. The Axisflying Bando 5" is the frame for pilots who plan on spending more time upside down than right-side up. It's a True X layout because, let's face it, "Deadcat" is for people who care about seeing their props in the HD feed more than actual flight symmetry. We’re Unmanned Tech UK, and we’re here to help you crash in style.
Why You Want It
Aside from the fact that it comes in Pink, Blue, and "Tactical" Black, this frame is built to survive the inevitable meeting between your quad and a steel beam. It’s stiff enough to satisfy the PID-tuning nerds but forgiving enough to not shatter the second you look at it funny. It's the FPV equivalent of a leather jacket—it looks better with a few scuffs on it. Plus, the True X geometry means it flies exactly how a quad should, without those weird yaw tendencies that plague asymmetrical builds.
Specs
- Geometry: True X (For that perfectly balanced flight feel you'll claim to notice)
- Arm Thickness: 5.0mm (Thick enough to survive a hit, thin enough to not fly like a brick)
- Top Plate: 2.0mm (Holding your GoPro's hopes and dreams together)
- Carbon Type: T700 High-Strength Carbon (Fancy talk for "industrial-grade durability")
- Stack Mounting: 20x20mm & 30.5x30.5mm (Because choice is an illusion, but we give it to you anyway)
- Motor Mounting: 16x16mm (Standard, because we aren't savages)
- Camera Support: 19mm/20mm (Fits your DJI, Walksnail, or that crusty analog cam from 2018)
- Weight: Approx 120g (Before you add all that TPU you definitely don't need)
In the Box
- 1x Axisflying Bando 5" Frame Kit (Some assembly required; if you can't build it, don't fly it)
- 1x Hardware Pack (Try not to lose the tiny screws in your carpet, we won't send more)
- 1x TPU Accessory Set (For the aesthetic points)
Compatibility
This frame plays nice with most 5-inch props, 22xx to 28xx motors, and whatever stack you haven't managed to fry yet. Digital or Analog? It doesn't care. It’s an equal-opportunity enabler for your expensive bando habit.
Highlights
- True X Layout: Balanced handling for those high-speed transitions and buttery smooth orbits.
- Bando Ready: Designed specifically for freestyle abuse in abandoned UK factories.
- Vibrant Finishes: Pink, Blue, or Black. Match your frame to your mood or your bruises.
Notes
Arm swaps are relatively painless, which is good because we know you'll be ordering spares by next Tuesday. Ensure you use Loctite, or don't—watching your motors vibrate off mid-air is technically a form of entertainment for the rest of us.

Still Here?
You’re still reading? Either you’re a web crawler trying to index our SEO-optimized "Bando 5 Freestyle Frame" keywords, or you’re really procrastinating on that motor swap. Just buy the frame, grab some props, and go hit something. Your simulator time doesn't count as real-world experience, mate.
