The Hydrophobe is a 255mm water-resistant 5″ cine quad with a 2mm aluminum mid plate that doubles as a heat sink for your ESC and VTX. It has a 3mm bottom carbon plate, 6mm arms, and 1.5 mm top plate. The TPU skirt keeps rain, snow, and dirt out, augment it with sealant to make it as waterproof as possible.

Features
- Equipped with an extra-long strap to wrap around the entire frame when mounting the battery.
- Arms are equipped with mounting points for floats.
- The DJI skirt has antenna holders.

Build Tips:
- Avoid the use of a short strap looped around the outside of the tabs, that part is not meant for that amount of stress.
- Use a non-conductive thermal paste to transfer heat, but don’t let bare boards directly contact the aluminum.
- An Immortal T holder is also available to screw on to the top plate.

This frame is not recommended for beginners as has limited instructions and can be quite tricky to install electronics inside the low profile frame.
This frame is sold with optional 3D printed parts
- Optional 3D Print parts include either a DJI compatible skirt, or an analog/vista compatible skirt, Crossfire mount, and selection of gopro camera mounts. STL files for all parts can be downloaded here.
- If you want to add extra 3D print files we can print them for you via our 3D print service.
