Introducing the RFD900x TELEM Interface Cable – the perfect solution for connecting your RFD900x or RFD868x modem to your PixHawk Carrier board. With this cable, you can easily establish an external SBUS/PPM connection and connect to an external 5V power supply.
The 5V power supply is provided from a separate header, ensuring that your modem has access to the full transmit power (30dBm) it requires for optimal performance. The SBUS/PPM I/O cable is 3.3v tolerant and can act as a source or sink for both PPM and SBUS formats, making it versatile and adaptable to your needs.
To ensure proper function and avoid damage to your modem, please note that the orientation of the cable is important. The black triangle on the cable should be aligned with the PIN 1 label on the 16w header on the RFD900x PCB, and the red wire should be on pin 4 of the modem.
