I have recently fitted this to my quad so I cannot comment on the longevity of the component.
This buzzer is simple to wire up to the SP Racing F3 as depicted in the description. Once connected it is easy to configure in betaflight.
The buzzer is very loud and will beep every time you plug the battery into the quad. If your transmitter is not bound, the buzzer will sound constantly until it is connected. If you are going to be plugging in the quad with no transmitter then it would be worth while using a servo connector and the supplied pins instead of direct soldering so you can avoid this.
Tested in the field through long grass and was easily able to hear the quad from 50+ meters away.
