Dan Johnson –
Absolutely great performing motor let down by DYS failing to ensure that the motors are of a good quality before leaving the factory. Had to have 2 replacements sent due to poor bearings as well as excess balancing paste seizing the motor entirely. Other than that an absolute bargain of a motor.

I have used quite a few of these motors, i have been through nine in total so far, and they are a good motor but as with all things there is a but;
They make good power but they are amp hungry at the upper end of the throttle range.
The c clip is made of cheese and breaks easily under use but this is most likely cuased by low quality bearings which fail quickly or just arent right from the off, but they can be replaced fairly easily should the need arise.
That said they are a good entry motor as the go well when they do and they are cheap enough to almost be considered disposable, as you learn to fly, possibly crash more, its less costly to replace.
