What KV Should You Pick?
For 6S 7-inch builds, we go 1500KV or 1700KV on the 2807. The 1700KV gives punchy freestyle response; the 1500KV favours long-range cruising efficiency. For 4S, the 1700KV is the only sensible choice for enough head speed.
For the 2812 on an 8-inch build, 1100KV on 6S is the sweet spot. The 900KV exists for maximum efficiency at the cost of top-end punch.
Pairing It With the Right FC and Configuring AM32
The G2 mounts on a standard 30x30 stack. We pair it with the SpeedyBee F405 V4 BLS 55A for budget builds, though any FC with a standard 4-in-1 ESC connector works. Configuring AM32 uses the web configurator via a USB signal converter, similar to flashing Bluejay or BLHeli. You enter motor KV directly for optimised timing, a feature BLHeli_32 never offered properly.

Yes, for 6S 7-inch builds. AM32 handles high-load scenarios better, the 65A rating gives thermal headroom, and you get KV-based timing. For 5-inch freestyle, a 50A ESC is still plenty.
Q: Can I use the 2812 motors on a 5-inch frame?
