This is a 2-axis stabilised camera mount that you can use for high quality stabilised videos that from your multi rotor frame.   This verson comes with 155mm landing legs as some multicopters dont have legs high enough to mount this gimbal.  This landing legs version attaches via rubber washers so has much more vibration resistance compared to the standard gopro mount.

This camera mount uses ball bearings for extra smooth camera mount movements for the most stabilised video.  Although this is desgned for a GoPro camera, you can also use any other camera of similar size and weight.

You will need a flight controller board with 2 servo outputs to control this gimbal.  If your flight controller does not have 2 spare outputs you can also try mixing the outputs.  We reccomend that you use the ArduPilot Mega flight controller with this gimbal.

Note: This kit does not include servos. This kit does not include the GoPro camera and requires assembly.  You will need to drill 4 additional holes in your arducopter frame in order to attach the landing legs/gimbal.

What Servos do I need?

This gimbal needs 2x micro size servos.  Its best to use the Emax ES08 range of servos that we sell.  If you want the best performance you should use the ES08D or ES08MD servos.

Want to use this gimbal on a DJI F550 type frame?

If you want to use this gimbal on the DJI F550 hexacopter frame then you will need to buy the F550 adaptor plates that we sell.

  1. Good solid and light landing system With gimbal Review by Darren

I orderd this landing gear setup, within 5 days later the package was with me, a long time you may think, but Im in New Zealand. Package arrived in perfect condition.
The kit took about 25mins to assemble, really easy to complete. All the parts fitted together first time. Really solid and stable, even has a few extra screws. All in all very well made and soild but light landing system. And because of the attachment systrem it is transferable from quad to quad. (Posted on 27/03/2013)

  2. Great GImbal Review by Paul

Ive got this on a DJI 330 frame.

For the price you wont find a better gimbal and the landing legs are great too.

Heres a video of my quadcopter using this gimbal:
